The Challenge
A format built on genuine surprise: four creators swap homes - blind. Nobody may know who lives where. Not the guests, not the audience - and the production can’t rehearse it either. Classic production wants the opposite: recce every location, storyboard every move, walk every path in advance. Rehearsing this format would have killed it. And the locations weren’t sets - they were the creators’ real homes: intimate, vulnerable, full of exactly the personal details the format lives on. Maximum content, minimum intrusion, zero spoilers. That’s not a shooting problem. It’s an architecture problem.
The Orchestration
We planned the beats, not the paths. Every episode ran on one engineered story system - hook, rules, challenge, mini peaks, evidence, cliffhanger - locked before every shoot. Inside that structure: nothing scripted. Things were allowed to happen, and the system was built to catch them.
A mobile unit, set up to shoot spaces it had never seen, following creators whose routes nobody knew - flexible enough to react, precise enough to never miss a beat.
And a care architecture for vulnerable spaces: small footprint, remote monitoring, clear agreements with the creators. Intimacy and safety first - because that’s what made real openness on camera possible in the first place.
From fine concept, casting and creator management to shoot and post: one system, one integrated team - Vodafone, Odaline and fount.space.
The Output
YouTube-first, built as an asset system: five 7-minute episodes at the core, 15 native 9:16 shorts around them - teasers, challenge cutdowns, mini challenges, guess-the-person - driving awareness back to the longform. Four real homes, four creators - Stefanie Giesinger, Nic Kaufmann, Ines Anioli, Tim Schaecker - and a community that played the guessing game in the comments, episode after episode, all the way to the reveal.
