Ford Pro

An ongoing YouTube format, built as a system that learns - episode after episode.

The Case

Mission Machen: Ford Pro’s ongoing YouTube format. Host Laurin - a craftsman from the community, for the community - visits real German SMEs and shows what Ford fleet vehicles do when the job is real. 2M+ views on single episodes.

The Worlds

Every episode, a different business, a different environment: deep in the forest with a forester and a Ranger...

...and beyond

...to a racetrack serviced by Ford. The format travels; the system stays the same.

The Architecture

Every episode runs on one structure: intro, onboarding, the way to work, two projects, outro. 15 minutes, engineered - because YouTube isn’t a content problem, it’s an architecture problem.

The Attitude

Nobody watches from the sidelines. Laurin and crew work along - we learn the job to tell it right.

The Machine

One streamlined system from script to shoot to edit. Longform at the core, shorts and product content around it - so briefings carry through, from the first draft to the final cut.

The Loop

After every shoot block: reviews and retros in the steering team — Ford, Odaline and fount.space. Learnings go straight into the next block. The format doesn’t just repeat — it compounds.

The Challenge

A B2B YouTube format is not a campaign - it’s a commitment. Mission Machen had to work as a system: episode after episode, in radically different worlds - a forest, a racetrack, a plumbing business - with one host, one structure, and a full cross-funnel asset stack every time. The usual failure mode is known: episode one is great, episode three is late, episode five is off-brand. Formats don’t die from bad ideas. They die from production that doesn’t scale with them.

The Orchestration

We built Mission Machen as a system that learns. The foundation is architecture: every episode runs on the same engineered structure - intro, onboarding, the way to work, two projects, outro. The structure stays fixed; the worlds change. That’s what lets a forester’s Ranger and a racetrack’s fleet live inside the same format.

Casting was an architecture decision too: Laurin, a craftsman from the community, for the community - and nobody watches from the sidelines. Host and crew work along, learning the job to tell it right.

Underneath runs one streamlined system from script to shoot to edit - longform at the core, shorts and product content around it, recurring steps tool-supported so the team’s attention stays on judgement, not mechanics, and every briefing carries through to the final cut.

And the system compounds: after every shoot block, reviews and retros in the steering team - Ford, Odaline and fount.space. Learnings go straight into the next block. Working in iterative cycles means the format doesn’t just repeat. It gets better.

The Output

Six episodes, each with 12 unique assets across the funnel - 72 uniques total, plus adaptations in 16:9, 9:16 and 4:5, plus stills, plus product content the brand reuses beyond the format. 2M+ views on single episodes on Ford Deutschland’s channel. And the metric that matters most for an ongoing format: every shoot block ships better than the last.
